Box Warsaw
Signage and Graphics
Box opened a new office in 5 floors of Varso Tower in Warsaw, Poland. It was my responsibility to fill the space with graphics and wayfinding signage.
More images coming soon. Images and videos by STG Architects and box.

A series of neon hands were installed in the same location in each of the five levels of the space. This visual statement, using only hands, conveyed expressive messages of teamwork.
Above are the five different layouts of the neon hand "teamwork" series.
Off-the-shelf neon signs were assembled together to recreate the feeling of a local hangout in Warsaw, Poland.
A series of two living wall installations were created for the cafe area. One was of a legendary Warsaw mermaid and the other was Box's unofficial mascot, the unicorn. The backgrounds were created by a living wall vendor and the mermaid, unicorn and landscape were handcrafted by a wood worker in Poland. Different stain colors were used to give dimension to the wood imagery.

It's hard to capture the full-scale impact of these vibrant walls, but these spanned two levels as employees made their way from one level to another. There were different colors located between two different levels. The gradation changed from one color to the next as you moved up the stack of floors.
Here are some small scale test prints of the stair wall designs. The color proofs were used to coordinate colors and also get a visual of what the wall coverings would look like in a CMYK print.
These vibrant squiggly walls meandered through the space and were meant to create movement as you walked around the floor. Each floor had a unique color that tied into the interior design color scheme. The idea was to continue some of the feel of the neon through the space via a different format. As simple as the design is it was very effective.
Above are the full layouts of the squiggly lines. The full artwork was cut into unique sections for each of the fourteen different walls in the space that would receive these graphics.
