






The inbox was designed with a large viewing area on the right and a persistent sidebar on the left. This allows users to bounce around between messages and savers without changing the entire experience. The layouts are essentially the same for both functions, further conditioning patterns throughout the application.

When opening a message it expands and collapses inline. This worked extremely well. At the time most web-based messaging applications did not operate in this way. Now it is common place to see an experience like this. This approach combined aspects of various non-messaging platforms and used them to make the messaging experience cleaner, immersive and more functional.


This drag and drop solution is now more common place but at the time, only uploading functions on cloud-based storage platforms used them. Noticing the ease in use, it made sense to implement this on a messaging application where documents are constantly sent back and forth in the healthcare space.
